I was ordered to be paid restitution
- Is the defendant making payments to the court?
- Contact the court
- Is the defendant making payments to the Office of State Debt Collection?
- Contact the Office of State Debt Collection (OSDC)
- Are you unsure of where the defendant is making payments?
If the defendant was sentenced to prison, they were most likely ordered to pay the Office of State Debt Collection (OSDC). Otherwise, they were most likely ordered to pay the court. If the defendant was sentenced prior to July 1, 2021, it’s possible that it was not clearly defined where the defendant should make payments. Contact uovcrestitution@utah.gov in these scenarios for clarification.
