Payment Information
- If the victim has no insurance or other collateral source for payment, UOVC shall pay UOVC’s allowable amounts for the type of mental health service provided
- If the victim has insurance or other collateral source for payment, UOVC shall pay the portion of the eligible bills that the victim is obligated to pay according to the insurance agreement up to UOVC’s allowable amounts for the type of mental health service provided
- Payment made by UOVC on behalf of a victim, when accepted by the provider, is considered payment in full
- UOVC has no timely filing deadline

How to Submit Billings for Payment Review
- Submit required documentation, along with the CMS-1500 or UB billing form and the insurance Explanation of Benefits, if applicable
