Funding Opportunity for Sexual Assault Services in Underserved Communities

The Utah Office for Victims of Crime is excited to announce a funding opportunity that may align with your organization’s goals. We are now accepting applications for State of Utah allocated funding, specifically aimed at enhancing sexual assault services within underserved communities.

Funding Opportunity Details:

  • Funding Organization: Utah Office for Victims of Crime
  • Program Focus: Rape and Sexual Assault Services
  • Eligible Projects: Organizations whose mission is to serve Tribal, culturally specific, and underserved populations
  • Funding Amount: Applicants may request up to $75,000

How to Apply:

  1. Review the Application Instructions: Please see the attached “24-25 Culturally Specific and Underserved Programs Application Instructions.”
  2. Complete the Program Information Form (Use this Link) Submit your responses via the provided Google Form, or use your own document to answer the questions.
  3. Fill Out the Budget Sheet: Complete the attached budget sheet in Excel.
  4. Submit Your Application: Email your completed application to Melissa Wayment at mwayment@utah.gov by September 13, 2024.

Virtual Question & Answer Sessions:

To assist with the application process, we will be hosting virtual question and answer sessions on the following dates:

  • August 22, 2024: 9 AM to 10 AM
  • August 23, 2024: 1 PM to 2 PM

Please read through the instructions beforehand and come prepared with any questions you may have. To receive an invitation to the session, please email mwayment@utah.gov.
